3 Reasons to Exercise in the Morning
You probably already know the first two reasons, but they’re good reminders.
The third reason is the kicker!
- Your metabolism will get a boost for the rest of the day.
- Your energy levels will be higher for the rest of the day.
- You will accomplish something you didn’t think you could do before you even leave the house!
Think about #3 a minute. No one gets up at 5 or 6 in the morning and thinks, “I’m ready to kill this workout!”
No — it’s more like, “I don’t know if I can do this…I don’t want to do this…I must be crazy for doing this…but I know I need to…here goes nothing.”
Then, you do it! And you feel like you can accomplish whatever comes your way for the rest of the day! Not much can beat that feeling!
Yes, it suck, but it’s worth the effort to get up early and knock your workout off your to-do list. (One caveat — it won’t seem worth it at first; it will take a couple weeks for your body to adjust. Give it a little time ?)
I am not getting paid to say this, but I highly recommend you check out HASfit.com. I work out with them 5 days/week. They even have 5 MINUTE workouts, so you have no excuse not to do it.
